Sacred Geometry at the University Club

The topic of geometry in quilting techniques has been essential in its development. It has allowed for the improvisation of patterns and bright and contrasting colors, creating an interesting visual movement.

In these works, part of our permanent collection, the artists remind us that geometry is present in everything you can imagine: from the arrangement of petals in a flower to the molecular structure of chemical compounds; in the organization of atoms in a crystal or the distribution of stars in a galaxy, geometry underlies the structure and order of the universe—it is simply beautiful. It is an integral part of our reality, from the microscopic to the macroscopic, to the cosmic; it permeates every aspect of our knowledge and experience, and exploring it at its intersection with art is to dive into the wisdom of the universe.
