Our Next Theme: Conexiones / Connections

The Members Challenge is an opportunity for members of all skill levels to exhibit their talent at the museum. Occurring three times a year, we challenge our community to design 12″ by 12″ quilts based on a theme. This challenge is reserved for members. A contract for member participants to print, complete, and bring with their submissions is available here.

Conexiones / Connections Exhibition Dates: May 11 – June 22

Description:  Focusing on how the creative spirit connects ideas and they become interwoven.

Deadline to Museum: April 20 – May 4

Pick Up Dates: June 26 – July 6

Rooted Exhibition Dates: October 19 – November 30

Description:  Rooted: Defined as to cause to grow roots – Use this challenge to show how you’ve grown this past year or show what seeds of thought you would like to express in this challenge.

Deadline to Museum:  September 28 – October 12

Pick Up Dates:  December 4 – 18

VMOTA’s periodic Members Challenges are the perfect opportunity for members to share their vision with the public!

A theme and size are selected for these challenges, and then you make the visual association.
