About Exhibition Proposals
Visions Museum of Textile Art (VMOTA) seeks to exhibit a variety of artists working in the field of textile art and fiber arts.
Our 2024 Proposal Season, open to both solo artists and groups for submitting exhibition proposals, will be starting in the summer. Details to come. Submission does not imply or guarantee that a proposal will be accepted for exhibition. All submissions must be completed in English.
Thank you for checking our Call for Entries page. We are not accepting non-member entries for exhibitions at this time.

Upcoming Theme: Conexiones / Connections
The Members Challenge is an opportunity for members of all skill levels to exhibit their talent at the museum. Occurring three times a year, we challenge our community to design 12″ by 12″ quilts based on a theme. A contract for member participants to print, complete, and bring with their submissions is available here.
Conexiones / Connections Exhibition Dates: May 11 – June 22
Description: Focusing on how the creative spirit connects ideas and they become interwoven.
Deadline to Museum: April 20 – May 4
Pick Up Dates: June 26 – July 6

Rooted Exhibition Dates: October 19 – November 30
Description: Rooted: Defined as to cause to grow roots – Use this challenge to show how you’ve grown this past year or show what seeds of thought you would like to express in this challenge.
Deadline to Museum: September 28 – October 12
