ARTIST STATEMENT
The process often begins by designing the fabric that will become the quilt. Developing a visual surface on the textile through dyeing, screen printing, painting, and other techniques that are new and exciting. In the next phase, I design the colors, lines, shapes, and inner vision which morphs the art into a creation that speaks for itself. The language of my art comes from a non-verbal place, and the completed work is enhanced by the viewers experience.
