ARTIST STATEMENT
Clothes, like an added layer of skin, are part of us, and so is the place where we live. Like scars on our skin, buildings wear scabs of battles and street names with painful historical events reminding us of our past. Clothes can be changed, streets renamed, and buildings renovated, but can history be glorified?
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
Overprinted and painted newspaper, and threads.
Cut and machine-stitched.
