ARTIST STATEMENT

Driving through Southern Indiana I spied four giant spheres in a rural field. They are built to store liquid natural gas. Keeping gas liquefied uses enormous amounts of energy to keep the temperature cold enough to stay in a liquid form. In transport, these spheres fit four to a tanker and leak methane gas along the way.
