Members Challenges
MEMBERS CHALLENGE Call for Entry
The Members Challenge is an opportunity for members of all skill levels to exhibit their talent at the museum. Occurring three times a year, we challenge our community to design 12″ by 12″ textile art based on a theme. This challenge is reserved for members. Contracts for member participants to print, complete, and bring with their submissions are available below for 2026 events.

Home
Delivery Date to the Museum: January 27 – January 31, 2026
Exhibition Dates: February 14 – March 21, 2026
Description: The theme of “Home” encompasses the many facets of a space that make us feel safe, connected, and grounded. Showcase your works inspired by the feelings, the places, the tangible, and intangible that come together to create your sense of home.

4 Elements
Delivery Date to the Museum: June 16 – June 20, 2026
Exhibition Dates: June 27 – August 1, 2026
Description: The theme “4 Elements” refers to the ancient elements of earth, air, fire, and water. There was great curiosity about the natural world, which drove the study of these “elements,” their properties, and relationships to one another. Where will your curiosity lead you?

Flower Power
Delivery Date to the Museum: October 7 – October 10, 2026
Exhibition Dates: October 24 – November 28, 2026
Description: The theme “Flower Power” can channel botanical themes, the 1960s counter-culture movement, or both! The term originates from Allen Ginsburg, who suggested that flowers be distributed during protests as a way to advocate for peace, love, and non-violent resistance to war and suppression.
