ARTIST STATEMENT
In my recent series, I’m reflecting on my map-inspired works of the last 25 years. Using the silhouette of my own profile, I consider these pieces to be self-portraits. The choice of newspaper as the main medium emphasizes the ephemeral character of what I have made.
