ARTIST STATEMENT

Ghost Gear is a reminder of the lost and abandoned fishing gear that floats throughout the world’s oceans—entangling and killing hundreds of thou-sands of marine animals each year. Although we are a long way from solving this issue, actions are, thankfully, being taken to reverse this devastating phenomenon.
