ARTIST STATEMENT
The base of this work is a collage of old urban maps and architectural elements evoking layers of history. The schematic modern city layout floating above it reminds us of the importance of knowing our historical roots.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
Cotton, hot-cut organza, and overprinted newspaper.
Fused and machine-stitched.
