ARTIST STATEMENT

Space can be positive or negative, open or closed, shallow or deep, and two-dimensional or three-dimensional. Aloft in space connotes being airborne, soaring, elevated or lifted up. But what is the edge of space? Can you fall off? Can you peer over? Can you step back?
