ARTIST STATEMENT
“Chronicle” suggests the relationship between time and space, as one planet seems to approach the viewer as another planet slowly disappears. What laws of physics must have been bent to create this scene? Reality is challenged as concrete depictions of planets are juxtaposed with a dreamlike universe.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
Wool, silk, cotton, rayon, nylon, polyester, and linen.
Hand-painted silk, raw edge appliqué, and free motion quilting.
