ARTIST STATEMENT
‘Bellissima’ is Spanish for “beautiful and feminine.” White and warm colors say feminine to me. Inspired from two large paintings that were cut up and reassembled to create the composition.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
Cottons and blends, satin and ultra-suede, and wool batting.
Machine appliqué and pieced, and machine quilted.
