ARTIST STATEMENT

The first time I saw an image of the coronavirus, I couldn’t help but think of one of my dog’s favorite toys. The photo here reflects that and the chaos of the virus in our communities. Behind the photo, which is printed on chiffon, is a pieced quilt made from the remnants of my mask-making activities.
