ARTIST STATEMENT

From sketchbook pages, these represent a selection of real, abstract or collaged images based on Antarctica. The fresh quick line and wash effects remain ‘free’ even when the image is heat transferred onto cloth, layered and intensely machine stitched. There have been over 50 different small pieces created and I continue to keep adding to them.
