ARTIST STATEMENT

Oregonians are blessed with the pristine beaches of the Pacific Ocean. In recent years SOLVE, a volunteer-based organization, has an annual event to clean the beaches of debris left behind by people who recreate on our coastline. This effort has positively impacted our beaches in Oregon. Manzanita is our family’s favorite beach. We are pleased the clean up allows us to continue our enjoyment of the seasonal rhythmic movement of the waves as the ocean meets the shore.
