ARTIST STATEMENT
Not all trash ends up at the dumps. The great Pacific Garbage patch stretches across a swath of the North Pacific Ocean forming a nebulous, floating junk yard on the high seas.
Plastics that begin in human hands yet ends up in the ocean endangering our marine life. It is time to shift tides and we humans need to protect instead of polluting our waters.
MATERIALS
Cotton fabric, acrylic paint, specialty threads
