Focus Fiber

Focus Fiber is an oasis community with positive intentions of mutual support. The group meets regularly to share current work and to offer and receive constructive feedback. Comprised of VMOTA members who are actively working in fiber and textile materials and techniques, the participants support each other in the artistic process. To share one’s art can feel daunting; the Focus Fiber group is a place where artists may practice bravery in personal expression.

Focus Fiber is open to all VMOTA members who would like to share finished works or receive critique of works in progress. The group values its open and positive attitude and active listening. Members speak from good intentions, and artists are free to accept or reject feedback. What’s on the table is always nourishing food for thought!

Focus Fiber meetings are the first Monday of the month. For more information about Focus Fiber, contact us.
