ARTIST STATEMENT
This intricately pieced and slightly humorous work focuses on telling stories with bits of fabric. By combining the words “symbol” and “graphic” she created her own word to describe these artworks: “symbographic.” This piece is an interpretation of The Center (中環中⼼) building in Hong Kong.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
Cotton fabric, and cotton batting.
Machine-pieced, and machine-quilted.
