ARTIST STATEMENT

Third in the Gifts from the Universe series, Geode Cache is a nod to the amazing creations of nature. The geode itself is nondescript but when opened it can hold a world of delightful and colorful crystals, all formed by heat and pressure.

MATERIALS

Cotton fabric, interfacing, felt batting, cotton and metallic thread

TECHNIQUES

Paper piecing, machine quilting
