ARTIST STATEMENT
“The Farewell” was made as a memorial for my father who died during the Covid lockdown.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
Fabric cutouts, embroidery floss, and stitching on industrial felt.
Quilted cotton is cut out on a laser cutter, and affixed to the industrial felt. Embroidery floss lines are machine stitched.
