ABOUT THE ARTIST
Adrián Guerrero lives and works in Guadalajara, Mexico. Guerrero holds an architect degree and a Master of Philosophy and Social Sciences degree, both from ITESO in Guadalajara, Mexico. He teaches the Image Workshop at the ITESO School of Arts and is a self-taught ceramist. His work demonstrates a constant search to analyze human perception supported by the field of philosophy from different levels, generating new reflections and re-signifying what seems common to us. His reflections and processes stem from the simple, from the surprise of the small and the everyday. His work is part of collections such as the Louis Vuitton Foundation, the Museum of Ceramics of Manises (Valencia, Spain), CERCO (Aragon, Spain), the University of Guadalajara MUSA Collection (Jalisco, Mexico), and the Zapopan Art Museum (Jalisco, Mexico). From 2004 to the present, he has participated in numerous exhibitions, both individual and collective, in different cities in Mexico, as well as in Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, Venezuela, Singapore, Korea, Italy, Germany, and the Dominican Republic.
