ARTIST STATEMENT

The idea was to have an unknown location, not easily identifiable, something with ambiguous atmosphere, with a minimalistic look: capturing the color red with the gold caramel colors of the desert. This collaboration was based on an exploration to create something artistically simple. “Rojo” is a visual experience of colors and nature.
