ARTIST STATEMENT

A monochromatic expression of the human experience in relation to nature. Red ignites passion, pain, love, and violence, amongst many other emotions; in a way it connects all living things, it runs within us, our blood. That connection of the color, textures, materials and surrounding atmosphere reminds us that we are part of a human experience that is fragile and mortal. 

MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES

Materials: Glass beads, linen, cotton thread. 

Technique:   Mixed Media.
