ARTIST STATEMENT

Collection: La Pesca del Día  (The catch of the day) 

A collection of hand beaded pieces featuring native fish from Baja California: Bonito del Pacifico, Garibaldi Damselfish, and Yellowfin Tuna. An homage to the creatures of the sea and their conservation, these pieces are a beaded interpretation and a form of preservation of endangered species of fish from the local coast. 

MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES

Materials: Glass beads, 6mm Labradorite stone, cotton thread, felt, linen. 

Technique:   Mixed Media.
