ARTIST STATEMENT
When Texas passed anti-abortion laws that blamed a pregnant woman for trying to take care of herself and have control over her own life, that was kind of the last straw for me. The uterus is not property of the government, nor of anyone but the woman who carries it. The people in the bubble don’t seem to understand this, although it’s interesting how rich people can always do the things that are illegal for the rest of us. A woman’s reason for an abortion is not up for debate. These are our bodies.
