ARTIST STATEMENT

My inspiration was from my stash and my hand dyepainted fabric that was used for the road and the background. These past two years have been hectic to say the least, and I feel like I am crawling out from under a rock. 

MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES

Materials: Hand dyed and hand dye-painted cotton, commercial cotton, cotton batting, Steam-a-Seam 2, thread, beads, and Puff Paint. 

Techniques: I dye-painted the background and road, drew the rocks, and used Steam-a-Seam 2 to attach to the background; machine quilted, Puff Paint, and Inktense.
