ARTIST STATEMENT

How would you feel if a war broke out of the blue as an inhabitant of your small unprepared country? How can an artist express violence, fear, closure, and minimal hope? What happens when inhabitants realize their small country was the target of a sudden attack by a bigger and stronger country? I felt a minimum of lines, shapes, and colors would be the most powerful way to express these feelings visually.

MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
