ARTIST STATEMENT
“Ghosts” was one of the last Guardians. I wasn’t intending to make any more in this series, but I felt I needed to make a tribute to recognize all those who didn’t make it through the pandemic. I lost a close friend and was not able to attend a memorial. This is for her.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
Commercial cotton fabric, wool/cotton batting, and polyester thread.
Machine-pieced, and machine-quilted (sit down longarm quilting machine).
