ARTIST STATEMENT

I think this one is my favorite of the logo pieces. The color palette of soft pink and green appeal to me as well as the beautifully stylized font. On most of the logo pieces I create the font on one piece of parchment. I transfer that to the organza with Mistyfuse®. On a second piece of parchment is the painted body of the car which is applied to the organza with the font already on. In this way the font becomes foreground of the image and the body of the car becomes the background.
