Visions Museum of Textile Art Proposal Season for 2027 Exhibitions is now open as of October 1, 2025. Please read the guidelines below if you are interested in this or future submissions.

Exhibition Proposal Guidelines

Visions Museum of Textile Art (VMOTA) seeks to exhibit a variety of artists working in the field of textile and fiber arts.

Our Proposal Season for exhibiting in 2027 will take place from October 1, 2025, to January 15, 2026. Submit proposals at https://proposalseason2027.artcall.org/

Exhibition proposal submissions must be sent through our ArtCall online portal only. Please do not send submissions to VMOTA directly.

Note: Submission does not imply or guarantee that a proposal will be accepted for exhibition. 

All proposals will be reviewed in early 2026, and artists will be notified by mid-2026. Don’t miss this opportunity to share your artistic talents through an exclusive exhibition at VMOTA in 2027.

Details About Your Submission

All submissions must be completed in English. If English is not your native language, we encourage you to use Google Translate to complete your application. If proposals are not complete, the proposal will not be considered until all corrections are made and resubmitted. A confirmation email will be sent after your piece is successfully submitted. Due to the volume of applicants we ask that you please do not contact the museum about the status of your application. The museum will contact you if any other information is needed ahead of the formal selection process.

Proposals are an opportunity to show a portfolio representative of the artist’s or group’s work.  If selected, VMOTA will request more information about the theme and pieces that fit our upcoming calendar. (Maximum of 1 proposed entry, unless you’re part of a group.) 

High resolution images should be between 4MG and 10MG. 

Please note: 

• Visions Museum of Textile Art does not consider rental exhibitions.  
• Artists are responsible for the cost of shipping the artwork to and from Visions Museum of Textile Art if accepted into an exhibition. A prepaid self-addressed return label(s) is required for each work.
