ARTIST STATEMENT
This is the second in my series of wholecloth art quilts layered with painted and block-printed Evolon, free-motion quilting, hand embroidery and a few sequins for bling factor. Each transformation is both meditative and fun.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
Evolon non-woven fiber, liquid acrylic fabric paints, hand-carved block prints, ink pad, assortment of threads, sequins, dimensional fabric paint.
Faux dyeing, block printing, free-motion quilting, hand embroidery.
