ARTIST STATEMENT

Textile design by Mischka, the background fabric is made of linen, and the image is a representation of the microscopic structure of Linum usitatissimum (the linen plant) in which the artist tries to provide evidence of the complexity of the material. The timelapse video reveals a hand beaded image of the union of two blue jaguars forming a “jaguar eclipse.”
