ARTIST STATEMENT

Working on this piece I returned to my more vibrant and primary palette found in Rust but this time with more control and textured detail. The quilting also adds more intricate detail than my earlier work. I used my fabric markers to a greater extent in this piece.

Parchment paper, light fusible web, organza, metallic acrylic paint, markers, paint pens, water-soluble ink block, wool batting, cotton backing
