ARTIST STATEMENT
The spectacular sight of the rising sun painting the sky at daybreak almost makes awakening at dawn a pleasure. It’s as if our creator is rewarding us for getting an early start and promising a day full of amazing gifts and wonders.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
Cotton fabrics, raw edge appliqué, and fabric painting. Machine stitched and quilted on a domestic machine.
Cotton fabrics, Isacord and Superior monopoly threads, Quilter’s Dream blend batting, and Caran D’Ache Neocolor II Water-Soluble Wax Pastels.
