ARTIST STATEMENT
Light reflected and refracted at night on the Seine River illuminates the 18th century buildings with bursts of sunset color which become mirrored in myriad street windows. Light and its many iterations is the memory I carry of two weeks in Paris.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
Hand dyed commercial linen, silks, velvet, and cotton fabrics.
Machine pieced and hand quilted.
