ARTIST STATEMENT
This piece was one of the first ones where I experimented with translucent airy works. A cutout city map and the rest of the cuttings were arranged with some drawings of dyed strings on this lacy work where the shadow of it adds an extra layer to the spectacle.

Overprinted and painted newspaper, and threads.
Cut, layered, and machine-stitched.
