ARTIST STATEMENT

As I drift in the dreamy colorful landscape of my imagination, my intent is to create engaging abstract compositions that uplift the spirit and inspire the viewer’s imagination. These small compositions are about layers and connections, rhythm and movement.

MATERIALS

Hand-dyed and commercial cotton, cotton/polyester batting, thread, wood cradled board, maple floating frame

Freehand cut shapes, raw edge machine appliqué, hand stitched appliqué, hand embroidery, layered with batting and backing, machine quilting
