Binational Signature Art & Culture Tour: Tijuana

March 12, 2026 | Experience the art, culture, and creative energy of Tijuana on a thoughtfully curated, small-group excursion designed for meaningful cultural discovery.

In partnership with Art Scene Baja, VMOTA invites you to an unforgettable cultural journey centered on immersive museum visits, meaningful artistic dialogue, and a shared culinary experience. This debut-of-its-kind tour offers guided access to three of Tijuana's premier cultural institutions, along with opportunities to connect with museum directors and cultural leaders driving the city's vibrant arts ecosystem.

The day concludes at CECUT with a visit to Somos Voces de Otras Voces (We are Voices of Other Voices), coordinated by Visions Museum of Textile Art and presented in a completely different architectural and cultural context—offering a distinct layout, atmosphere, and perspective that transforms how the work is experienced.

Tour Itinerary

Thursday, March 12, 2026 – Meeting Point: Liberty Station | VMOTA
9:00 a.m. – Meet at VMOTA
10:30 a.m. – Guided visit at CEART (State Center for the Arts, Tijuana)
11:30 a.m. – Lunch at a Mexican-fusion restaurant
1:00 p.m. – Visit to Casa de la Cultura
2:30 p.m. – CECUT visit and Somos Voces de Otras Voces exhibition
4:30–5:00 p.m. – Departure Tijuana to return to the United States
