ARTIST STATEMENT
I took my 7-year-old grandson on a road trip, excited to have him as my travel companion. He brought a "travel companion" of his own.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
Materials: Commercial cotton, batik fabrics, batting, and thread.
Techniques: Fused, then machine raw-edge appliquéd and machine quilted.
