ARTIST STATEMENT
Cloth speaks to me. The nature of the cloth itself—its drape, the tactile comfort of its woven thread—surrounds me with warmth as I dream of what it can become.
The cloth becomes energy—all rhythm and repetition. I cut. I sew. I cut. I reconstruct. I engineer all my pieces of cloth into vibrant wall quilts that are inspired by color, value, and patterning.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
100% cotton fabric, thread, batting.
Freeform cutting and piecing.
