ARTIST STATEMENT

Taking over two years to complete, this quilt is an homage to my collection of hand-painted dinnerware from Deruta, Italy, gathered over many years, one unique plate at a time. Alas, in my small New York City apartment I’ll never be able to lay everything out at once and set a table for eight.
