ARTIST STATEMENT
An unprecedented plastic tide has occurred, pervasively affecting the world’s oceans, beaches, coasts, seafloor, animals, and ultimately, us. A simple walk on any beach lays bare the plastic waste spectacle. I seek to depict this chaos of castoffs and hope we can all be inspired to use less plastic.
